Can you trust God in the hardest circumstances?
Just as we’ve all wrestled with trusting God at times, Sam Morrison shares how God has used some of the hardest circumstances to help her trust Him. In her struggles with the local church, she shares her difficulties with trusting anyone, including God. She continues her road to healing but has seen God work greatly in her life. Listen as she shares how He has connected her with the right people and how she has learned that God’s timing is perfect.

Sam has seen firsthand how God provides as she seeks His will for her life. She has been in administrative work for over twenty years and has started her own business. God provides through this business as she pursues what He wants her to do – become a recovery coach. She has seen God’s blessings as she willingly serves Him in any capacity. In this episode, Sam talks about what it means to shine God’s light wherever she is. Her involvement with the online community and Marketplace Mission Trips has helped her learn how to do this. She has also learned how to connect with people on a much deeper level. It’s easy for us to get caught up in our to-do lists, especially while at work. Listen as Sam shares how God has been teaching her to not focus on her tasks but also on the people around her. She encourages us to get involved in people’s lives. Instead of just talking business, be willing to step out and show you care.
Make a difference in YOUR world today
There are several who are called to overseas missions. But maybe that’s not you. Sam encourages everyone to take a Marketplace Mission Trip. The trips can help you find out how you can make a difference in your world right now, right where you are. She says that you can’t know what God will do through the trip. You just have to take that step of faith and do it.
Sam also shares about a friend who is not a believer. She takes trips specifically to help others. This proves how anybody can serve. But as you serve others in your workplace, you can do it from a heart for God. He has called us to love others. Period. Are you loving those around you enough to be Jesus to them?
