Today on the Follower of One podcast, Mike Henry sits down with John Scroggins. John Scroggins launched The Baton Exchange, a nonprofit training organization that focuses on equipping emerging leaders (20-Somethings) to be transformation catalysts for Christ in the global marketplace and culture. He’s enjoyed seeing the ministry touch about 30,000 lives from 20 countries. He lives in Columbus, Ohio with his wife and daughter. How competency directly affects the influence of sharing Christ

How do you gain more influence in your workplace and among coworkers? The best way to do that is through competency. Your coworkers are much more likely to take you seriously when you do your job right. Because of this, when you have more competency, it becomes easier to share Christ with your coworkers.

The idea of ministry at work

God calls us to go out and make disciples across the world. This also includes our workplaces. There isn’t a place where you shouldn’t share the Gospel. This is why, as Marketplace Christians, we are called to share the gospel with our coworkers.
