Pure in Heart
What makes a pure heart? What’s the benefit of seeing God? Most Jews would be aware of Psalm 24 and Exodus 33. In Exodus, we’re told that if we see God, we die. The Jews would recite Psalm 24 as they went up to the temple, hoping for God to cleanse their heart. Jesus tells us that we will be blessed, and we will be face-to-face with God if we’re people with a clean heart that is free of any impurities. Let’s be intentional in our walk with Jesus today, even while remote, and expect to see him.
