Do you exercise mercy much? Do you find yourself in a position to act on compassion or sympathy or pity? Mercy as a verb means we act on our mercy. We can’t be merciful unless we act. Feeling merciful, like empathy or compassion means very little. Our actions matter. If you act with mercy toward others, you will receive it. But from who? God?
