Running Scared – Proverbs 28:1

By Michael Henry Jr.

The passage for today is Proverbs 28:1. It says, “The wicked flee when no one is pursuing, but the righteous are bold as a lion.”

This verse tells us that the wicked are afraid even when there is no danger, while the righteous are confident and secure. This is because the wicked know that they are deserving of punishment, while the righteous know that they are forgiven by God.

We can be righteous by trusting in Jesus Christ for salvation. When we do this, we are forgiven for our sins and we become children of God. We can then live our lives with confidence and security, knowing that we are loved and accepted by God.

Let’s all strive to be righteous by trusting in Jesus Christ. Let’s not be afraid of what others think of us, but let’s be bold and confident in our faith. Let’s live our lives for God and for His glory.
