Shield and Glory
God is my shield and glory. What exactly does that mean? How can God be my glory? How is He my shield? When I see how God has brought me through the last 10 years by going over notes in my journal, I see how God protects. He guides, too. And He gives grace and encouragement. As my glory, He sets my reputation. What He thinks of me matters, not what others think. And as my shield, I know He is protecting and guiding me. I can live in the peace He gives because he is my shield and my glory.
