The passage for today is Proverbs 13:20. It says, “Whoever walks with the wise becomes wise, but the companion of fools will suffer harm.”
This verse tells us that the people we surround ourselves with have a big impact on our lives. If we spend time with wise people, we will become wiser. But if we spend time with fools, we will suffer harm.
We should be careful about who we choose to spend our time with. We should seek out wise people who can help us grow in our faith and become more like Jesus. We should also avoid spending time with fools who will lead us astray.
Let’s all strive to be wise and to surround ourselves with wise people. Let’s also pray for the fools in our lives, that they would come to know Jesus and become wise.
