Use Gifts Anywhere

Use Gifts Anywhere

Our gifts are designed to be shared anywhere. God has given us each strengths or gifts. The gifts given to us by the Holy Spirit living in us are to be used wherever we are, not just inside the church. Our job isn’t some lesser place to use our gifts, it may be the primary place our gifts bring glory to God. Your gifts are designed to make Jesus visible. Use your gifts wherever you can. Your spiritual gifts come from God but please, use them everywhere!

Marketplace Mission Trip Day 5 - Remembering Your Why | Follower Of One

Marketplace Mission Trip Day 5 – Remembering Your Why

Here you are. It’s the last day of the marketplace mission trip, day five. Thank you for being a part of this. Today, I want to go back to the beginning and I want to talk about the first marketplace minister. Remember in Mark 5, Jesus comes to this region and he meets a man who has an army of demons living in him. Jesus cast the army of demons out of the man, into a herd of pigs, they rush off a cliff and they die. People from the area come and they ask Jesus to leave because they don’t want Jesus changing their lifestyle. And so as Jesus is leaving, this man who was healed asked Jesus, “Can I go with you?” And Jesus said, “No, you stay here. Go back to your home, go back to your people and tell them what great things the Lord has done for you and how he has had mercy on you.”

Receiving Power | Follower Of One

Receiving Power

Do you consider yourself eternally powerful? Jesus states a fact that we will receive power. Did you receive the Holy Spirit? Then, according to Jesus, you have received power. What does it take to understand and trust the power we have? This power is available to us when we join God in his work. When we align ourselves with God’s interest in others, we experience His power. We see Him as He makes an eternal difference in others. And sometimes, He uses us, too!
