First or Last? – Matthew 19:30

First or Last?

Jesus tells us the first will be last and the last will be first 4 different times in scripture. What does he mean? Here in Matthew, he ends one story with this sentence and then he ends the very next story with the sentence again. What is the point of this passage and how does it impact our daily work life? What radical difference does Jesus make in this brief thought?
