In Christ Joy Follows Patience
While this verse refers to the captivity of Israel, it is also a metaphor for our own service to God in the workplace. How patient can you be? Have you noticed how joy always follows patience? Great patience can often precede great joy. How do you handle a difficult coworker or customer? Can you pray for them over and over again, day in and day out for months, even years, if God puts you and them in the same place. Do we really believe this verse?
