One Thing I Know – John 9:25

By SAM Morrison

One Thing I Know

How many things do you know? The man was born blind. He spent his whole life with no idea what anything looked like. He didn’t know the color of a sunrise or a blade of grass. He didn’t know what he or anyone else looked like. It’s difficult to imagine what he didn’t know.

Jesus heals him and then leaves. The religious leaders are questioning him and his family. This was quite an event. People want to know the reason for the change they can see. But Jesus was nowhere to be found. So they ask again and again. Finally, the man says, “one thing I do know: I was blind and now I see.”

If you know one thing about Jesus, you’re a minister, a witness. However Jesus has healed or changed you can be the one thing you know. But others won’t ask unless they see the change. How we live matters. When they see the difference, they will ask. And when we get the opportunity, as this man did, we speak for ourselves. He simply said what he knew.

Think about what you know about Jesus. Ask God to give you the opportunity to share your faith because of how you’re, now different.
